Nutcrackers are a Holiday Tradition for many families

Nutcrackers have been a part of history since the 15th century. Originating in Germany nutcrackers are a symbol of good luck. They were seen as conversational items as guests would use them to crack pecans and hazelnuts.

Today nutcrackers are used in family Christmas traditions as collectibles. Many children love to collect them and can use them throughout life remembering the Christmas past.

In this tree, Tonya Sorenson has used a beautiful blue velvet ribbon by Regency and many holiday picks and ornaments to create this nutcracker themed tree.
